DESCRIPTION:A complementary\, non-invasive\, energy healing art\, Therapeutic Touch is regularly practiced and offered in homes\, workplaces\, hospices\, hospitals\, long term care centers\, cancer\, health and wellness clinics. \nScientific research and experience show that Therapeutic Touch: \n\n\n\nRelieves stress\, pain and anxiety\nPromotes deep relaxation and healing\nImproves sleep and wellbeing\nEnhances the body’s natural healing process\nPromotes balance and wholeness\n\n\n\nTaught in 3 Levels: \nLevel 1 – An introduction to Therapeutic Touch\, as developed by Dr. Dolores Krieger R.N. and Dora Kunz\, covers theory\, scientific research and the Therapeutic Touch method. \nLevel 2 – A deeper look at the Therapeutic Touch process\, including the role of intention\, direction and modulation of energy\, imagery\, colour and music in a healing session. The focus is on hands-on practice – giving and receiving Therapeutic Touch\, with reflection and feedback\, to improve confidence and skills. \nLevel 3 – Introduces participants to the human energy system with a look at emotions\, intuition\, distant healing\, ethical principles and the importance of self-care and personal growth for the developing practitioner.
