THERAPEUTIC TOUCH LEVEL TWO WORKSHOP FOR HOSPICE VOLUNTEERS
LEVEL TWO
Prerequisite: Therapeutic Touch Level 1
Therapeutic Touch Level Two workshop content covers information on recent energy healing research, specific techniques for pain and anxiety relief at end of life, experiential learning exploring the nature and interrelationships of human energy fields, how to use imagery, colour and sound, breathing, centering and techniques for self-care, to build rapport and enhance comfort. Participants experience Therapeutic Touch both as provider and receiver.
In Level Two, participants will develop their ability to centre, learn to direct and modulate energy, learn about and apply colour and imagery in a Therapeutic Touch session, appreciate the importance of Self-care in healing, enhance their skills and build confidence, experience Therapeutic Touch both as provider and receiver.
