Foundations of Therapeutic Touch®

Saturday and Sunday, June 7 & 8, 2025 9 am – 4:30 pm
Location: Southeast Toronto
Foundations of Therapeutic Touch weekend intensive introduces the history of Therapeutic Touch, theoretical foundations and assumptions, attributes of a Therapeutic Touch practitioner, the importance of sustained centering, the five phases of a Therapeutic Touch healing session, ethical considerations, and applications of Therapeutic Touch.
On the completion of this workshop, the student will be able to:
- Name three attributes of a centered state
- Provide an introduction to the healing partner (Hp)/client for the Therapeutic Touch session including roles and expectations
- Demonstrate the five phases of the Therapeutic Touch session (do a session)
- Describe the five phases of the Therapeutic Touch process (explain what you did)
- Provide basic history of Therapeutic Touch.
Upon completion, participants receive a Therapeutic Touch Binder with workshop handouts, a reading list, and a Certificate of Participation.
